Other things going on is the miners in Utah the head of that mine has a problem he cares nothing for the men who are trapped.

The weather is do to globle warming well I dont know but if it follows this pattern we can exspect a wet winter.

God will protect us from all the evils of the all we need is faith in Jesus that he died for our sins.

Daily Bible Verse - 8/8/2007 - Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon

As I was shaving today i got a thought a mirror shows what your out sides look like but what is in your heart and mind shows how you are on the inside often someone can be very beautful on the outside and have a very poor personality.assomeone can not be pretty and have a good personalty that makes up for their looks and is a lot more beautiful that the prettiest person in the world.
Todays Bible Verse: Proverbs 27:19
As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man
Commentary
Thoughts reflect a person's true character
Word Study:
HeartHEART - the inner self that thinks, feels, and decides. In the Bible the word "heart" has a much broader meaning than it does to the modern mind. The heart is that which is central to a person. Nearly all the references to the heart in the Bible refer to some aspect of human personality. In the Bible all emotions are experienced by the heart: love and hate (Ps. 105:25; 1 Pet. 1:22); joy and sorrow (Eccl. 2:10; John 16:6); peace and bitterness (Ezek. 27:31; Col. 3:15); courage and fear (Gen. 42:28; Amos 2:16).The thinking processes are said to be carried out by the heart. This intellectual activity corresponds to what would be called "mind" in English. Thus, the heart may think (Esth. 6:6), understand (Job 38:36), imagine (Jer. 9:14), remember (Deut. 4:9), be wise (Prov. 2:10), and speak to itself (Deut. 7:17). Decision-making is also carried out by the heart. Purpose (Acts 11:23), intention (Heb. 4:12), and will (Eph. 6:6) are all activities of the heart. Finally, heart often means someone's true character or personality. Purity or evil (Jer. 3:17; Matt. 5:8); sincerity or hardness (Ex. 4:21; Col. 3:22); and maturity or rebelliousness (Ps. 101:2; Jer. 5:23)-all these describe the heart or true character of individuals. God knows the heart of each person (1 Sam. 16:7). Since people speak and act from their hearts, they are to guard them well (Prov. 4:23; Matt. 15:18-19). The most important duty of anyone is to love God with the whole heart (Matt. 22:37). With the heart a person believes in Christ and so experiences both love from God and the presence of Christ in the heart (Rom. 5:5; 10:9-10; Eph. 3:17).

Well Sunday it rained must of the day had good Sunday school discussion on what was goliaths actual heit many of the bibles didn't agree on what a cubit equaled in inches it can vary depending on the length of the finger tip and the elbow this would vary from person to the person at 6 cubits on span he was huge at over 10 ft. He was beat by davbid with brains of power but the faith David had in God. Through God all things are possible if we have faith...
Today Bible Passage
Exodus 15:11
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Commentary
"Who is like You" - Many times, the Bible uses this language of incomparability to describe the true God. In a world in which there were many supposed gods, the Lord was unique. He alone is God. He is not just better than other gods; there are no other gods. No person, god, or thing can be compared to the one true God (Ps. 96:4, 5; Is. 40:25, 26; Mic. 7:18). Fearful means that God inspired wonder, worship, and obedience from the Israelites.

As I set here listening to Fox News I Get upset to see the that many of the Radical Muslims are rejoicing in the bridge collapse. We would never rejoice in their people being killed. And to say that their God had done it is another way to spread their violent way.

Psalm 37:4
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commentary Find all your joy and pleasure in His will. Make Him your delight, and your desires will be in His will. Living to please the Lord sets you free from fretting about what men are doing.Wiersbe, W. W. (1997, c1991). With the word Bible commentary (Ps 37:1). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.Did you know? Psalm 37 is one of several alphabetical psalms (Ps. 9 and 10 together; 25; 34; 37; 111; 112; 119; 145). In Hebrew each succeeding verse begins with the next letter of the alphabet. The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters, so these psalms should have 22 verses. In Psalm 37 every other He brew line begins alphabetically, but there aren't 44 verses because some of the English verses are so long they break the pattern.

Daily Bible Verse - 8/2/2007 - Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we are healed. (NIV)But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we are healed. (KJV)But He was pierced through for our transgressions,He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,And by His scourging we are healed. (NASB)Isaiah 53:5CommentaryThis verse is filled with the language of substitution. The Servant suffered not for His own sin, since He was sinless (cf. Heb. 4:15; 7:26), but as the substitute for sinners. The emphasis here is on Christ being the substitute recipient of God's wrath on sinners (cf. 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 1:3,4; Heb. 10:9,10). chastisement for our peace. He suffered the chastisement of God in order to procure our peace with God. by His stripes we are healed. The stripe (the Heb. noun is singular) that caused His death has brought salvation to those for whose sins He died. Peter confirms this in 1 Pet. 2:24.MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997). The MacArthur Study Bible (electronic ed.) (Is 53:5). Nashville: Word Pub
.Did you know?
Our Lord Jesus suffered all five kinds of wounds known to medical science: contusions-blows by a rod; lacerations-scourging; penetrating wounds-crown of thorns; perforating wounds-nails; incised wounds-the spear.

The Daily Bible Verse
James 5:16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (KJV)
This verse fits today we need to pray one for another. After the terrible bridge collapse and to find out many of our bridge are in simlar conditions. The families and the victims need our prayers.
Commentary
By way of encouraging both elders and Christians to this kind of intercession for those in spiritual weakness, James reminds them that such prayer is effective. Effective translates energe? , from which our English word "i>?energyi>?" derives. The prayer of a righteous man (cf. i>?4:3i>?; i>?Ps. 66:18i>?; i>?Prov. 15:8i>?; i>?28:9i>?), James notes, can accomplish much (literally "i>?is very strongi>?"). Weak prayers come from weak people; strong prayers come from strong people. The energetic prayers of a righteous man are a potent force in calling down the power of God for restoring weak, struggling believers to spiritual health. To further demonstrate the power of righteous prayer and provide an illustration that captures the essence of his discussion, James turns to one of the most popular Old Testament figures. Elijah, he reminds his readers, though a prophet and man of God, was a man with a nature like ours. The Bible records that he was hungry (i>?1 Kings 17:11i>?), afraid (i>?1 Kings 19:3i>?), and depressed (i>?1 Kings 19:3i>?, i>?9-14i>?). Yet when he prayed earnestly (lit. "i>?he prayed with prayeri>?"), incredible things happened: It did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit. Elijah's prayers both created and ended a devastating three-and-one-half-year drought (cf. i>?Luke 4:25i>?). While i>?1 Kings 17i>? records the drought, only James gives its duration and links it to the prayers of Elijah.MacArthur, J. (1998). James (280). Chicago, Ill.: Moody Press.Did you know? In the i>?Old Testamenti>?, the priest was also the physician. It was he who diagnosed leprosy, and it was he who pronounced it cured, for instance.

(photos by KD8AMN) Man was it ever hot today but cann't complain to much as in three months we will be hollering is it ever cold. Was along night last night as I was watching the news of the bridge collapse and then there was the wild night on scanner with a murder very unsual for our small populated county. Then before that there was a high speed chase and a dog attack.

2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
We do not want to lose heart each day we will be renewed by the grace of God. The freshing grace is available to all of us if we ask for it God will pour his blessing on us if we have faith and strive to do his work........

Mood:  not sure

Monday, July 30, 2007

Well was Monday just not a good day just feel down. Went down the trail it was very hot today.

On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
But when Jesus heard this, He said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. "But go and learn what this means: 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
Matthew 9:12-13

Commentary
9:12 Jesus overheard and answered, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick." The Pharisees considered themselves healthy and were unwilling to confess their need for Jesus. (Actually they were extremely ill spiritually and desperately needed healing.) The tax collectors and sinners, by contrast, were more willing to acknowledge their true condition and to seek Christ's saving grace. So the charge was true! Jesus did eat with sinners. If He had eaten with the Pharisees, the charge would still have been true-perhaps even more so! If Jesus hadn't eaten with sinners in a world like ours, He would always have eaten alone. But it is important to remember that when He ate with sinners, He never indulged in their evil ways or compromised His testimony. He used the occasion to call men to truth and holiness.
9:13 The Pharisees' trouble was that although they followed the rituals of Judaism with great precision, their hearts were hard, cold, and merciless. So Jesus dismissed them with a challenge to learn the meaning of Jehovah's words, "I desire mercy, and not sacrifice" (quoted from Hosea 6:6). Although God had instituted the sacrificial system, He did not want the rituals to become a substitute for inward righteousness. God is not a Ritualist, and He is not pleased with rituals divorced from personal godliness-precisely what the Pharisees had done. They observed the letter of the law but had no compassion for those who needed spiritual help. They associated only with self-righteous people like themselves.
In contrast, the Lord Jesus pointedly told them, "I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." He perfectly fulfilled God's desire for mercy as well as sacrifice. In one sense, there are no righteous people in the world, so He came to call all men to repentance. But here the thought is that His call is only effective for those who acknowledge themselves to be sinners. He can dispense no healing to those who are proud, self-righteous, and unrepentant-like the Pharisees.

DAYS GONE BY

Saturday, July 28, 2007

Well it is another rainy day here in West Virgina as the chance of showers loom all weekend. We need more rain to help relieve the dry very dry conditions we haven had in this area for the last six to eight months.
Me and my cousin were talking last night remembering the goodtime we will never see no more hunting and fishing and frog gigging we have waited about every river and big stream in area as well as many ponds after the big bull frogs.
Remenbering hunting with a boy and that same week he was killed in a car accident a good kid who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
these time will nevr be no more as I am disabled and he is getting older turning from a walking hunter to a hunter who sets and leaves the brush beating to the younger boys.
the great times spent with his dad the master hunter knew more about the hunting and wildlife than anyone i ever have meant.
The times we spent working on and enjoying buthering hogs and beef a thing that is a lost art anymore.
Wondering what would happen to people if they were forced to live from the land again.

Daily Bible Verse - 7/28/2007 - Deuteronomy 6:5
Deuteronomy 6:5Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (NIV)And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (KJV)You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (NASB)
Deuteronomy 6:5
CommentaryYou shall love the Lord your God. First in the list of all that was essential for the Jew was unreserved, wholehearted commitment expressed in love to God. Since this relationship of love for God could not be represented in any material way as with idols, it had to be demonstrated in obedience to God's law in daily life. Cf. 11:16-21; Matt. 22:37; Luke 10:27.MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997). The MacArthur Study Bible (electronic ed.) (Dt 6:5). Nashville: Word Pub.Did you know?Jesus quotes this book (Deuteronomy) more than any of the other five books of Moses. There are nearly 100 quotes or references to Deuteronomy in the New Testament.
